James Foster is the Head of Marketing at SAS Australia. James is a passionate technology executive, with experience across marketing, sales & delivery roles. Technology advisory and best practices have formed key parts of James’ previous roles, including direct involvement with major organisations across many industries, especially Financial Services, Communications and the Public Sector. James has developed strong domain expertise in the area of Business Analytics and is considered a thought leader in this area, especially when engaging with IT and Architecture executives. James represents the Australian/New Zealand region as part of many global practice teams and is SAS’ regional spokesperson and evangelist around Cloud Computing, Big Data and High Performance Analytics, engaging with the media, industry analysts as well as customers and prospects. James has held a number of roles at SAS, previously focusing on areas such as Technology Strategy as well as building and leading the Architecture Practice within Australia and New Zealand. James’ knowledge not only includes SAS capabilities and technology but extends to integration with corporate systems and infrastructure. James draws upon his practical experience in designing and implementing a number of large scale enterprise solutions. |
